The Office expedition to Turkey

A few members of the Office of his eminent Grand Ayatollah Duzduzani Tabrizi (M.Z.A) along with Sheikh Hamid Duzduzani went on an expedition to Turkey in the month of Shaban. The purpose of the expedition was to visit Shia people and distinguished scholars and to receive local news about the Shia situation therein.

The members of the expedition were welcomed by a group of Shia people in Istanbul, then settled down to serving the purpose of the expedition. They met the leaders of Shia and Alavi people such as Sheikh Salah-addin Ouzgunduz and delivered greetings of his eminent Grand Ayatollah Duzduzani.

They also attended the great ceremony of Mid-Shaban and met the members of “Aladar” association and scholars of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) Shia. This association operates within the European region and serves the purpose of propagation of the religion of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

Meeting mosque prayer leaders, giving speech in Zeinabiie Mosque (one of the most important Shia mosques in Turkey), interviewing with Turkish Channel 14 (which is affiliated with the Turkish Institute of Kowsar) and going to mosques and religious Heiats were the most important measures of the expedition.

In the remainder of the expedition, they met Hojjat ol-Islam val-Moslemin Yousefi the director of Turkish branch of Al-Mustafa International University and discussed on mutual cooperation grounds.

In their return, they gave a report on the expedition to his eminence Grand Ayatollah Duzduzani Tabrizi and sought to exploit his eminence recommendations.
